On the verge of bad taste.

Another day and another amazing conversation within the MEMS centre at Kent University! I think it started with an article in The Sun newspaper on online boob jobs and this rapidly spread to how Margery Kempe, a medieval Christian mystic and fanatic wept during intercourse with her husband (surely it couldn't have been that bad!). We soon decided that the husband must also have been gifted but in rather a different way to Margery and thus he must have 'stretched the limits of her faith' - or something else - whenever he performed.

This discussion lasted for several hours, culminating in a visit to Weatherspoons and soundly rounded off by a political debate and a comparrison of the holes of both Margaret Thatcher and Sarah Palin. Naturally of course, we decided that the best course of action would be to put Sarah Palin in one, up to her waist and in an ironic twist, shoot her with a moose fired from a cannon.

Thus leading us to the point we are at now, we are getting hoodies, with 'On the verge of bad taste' printed in Latin and our own crest. I call that a resounding success for the MEMS society! I seriously love the course, the people and the experience. Just another day on the MEMS course!
